Welcome to Salt & Barrel
Our students prepare delicious 3 course lunches, tempting sweet treats and evening menus using the best quality, locally produced ingredients. You can enjoy a chilled glass of wine, beer or a soft drink with your meal, then relax with a speciality coffee or tea in our contemporary surroundings. We also accommodate small parties of guests for corporate lunches, celebration birthday treats or festive events.

Ayrshire College has superb links with industry and almost all students gain work experience while they are studying, giving them an opportunity to showcase their talents to employers. There is a wide variety of roles and if you have a good work ethic and a desire to provide excellent customer service then working in this industry could be for you. The opportunities are endless and include working with tiny specialist companies, being part of a major drinks business or learning from the masters in the top kitchens. |
